I have had such a lovely morning, i got to wake up at my own pace (which is necessary if you want to talk to me in the first half of the day) then had marmalade toast for breakfast, tended to my pot-plants, which seem to be doing okay since i was away for two weeks, and then finally sat down to read my new books which i am so damn excited about. Keeping Chickens and Canning & Preserving it’s part of a series called Homemade living. All i know is that one day i want to be like Ashley English. I want to live in a beautiful little Farmhouse where my ducks and chickens come say hello to me every morning (even though i steal their eggs for my consumption) Make preserves for the winter, knit, sew and count buttons till my heart is content. I know this has nothing to do with buttons but thinking about having my own homestead one day makes me just as happy as counting buttons. Anyway i just thought that i should share that with you……. These amazing buttons have nothing to do with farm living but are from my sister, who i love more than buttons and a vegetable garden put together. I was lucky enough to see her while i was in New york. She really does know me so well. i love all of them and the button fabric which i think will make a cute little teddy. Thank you Feej i love you.
