At the point i found these beauts, i was dizzy from looking at all the boxes in Hammond, all i could see was the shine and i put them straight in my box. These still give me blurry vision when i see them, they are too much of the yum!
these are okay, below average, run of the mill buttons. i don’t like them so much they okay…… hey.
Happy Birthday Shane and Beatrus.
I have blogged the three button holes before , but thought it was quite fitting for this weeks theme. The white buttons do look like they have a hole missing where as the blue buttons seem they were made that way. I still think maybe that the white ones are a bit mutated.
Between Angie and i we just find the most awesome stuff in Pary’s. The cutest little town that is close enough for a quick trip out of town to do some vintage shopping. I almost walked straight passed the store, thank goodness i took a second take. The shop also has the most amazing 100% cotton for (quilting). I had to beg her her to dig through her draws because i so knew i would find some left over buttons in there somewhere. This is what i found, HELLO!
Look what stubs got in a package today. OMG! Thank you for letting me enjoy the ‘package opening feeling’ - even though not my package. Who would ever give up 2 of the light blue ones on the left? Angie would, she must love me. Thanks stubs for sharing these awesomes with me.
so i went to fetch a parcel that was waiting for me yesterday from Hui Ling who lives in Singapore. It felt as if it was my birthday, i was so spoilt. Seriously Hui thank you so much. I spent the whole afternoon taking pictures of all the goodies, i love every single piece that was sent. From the jewelry to the prints, right down to the my favourite of the lot the printed shanks. I particularly like the black buttons with the gold prints on them - haven’t seen any of those here in SA and so those were really exciting to see. Thank you, thank you i love them all. x x x x can’t wait to send your package i am half way done.
