Between Angie and i we just find the most awesome stuff in Pary’s. The cutest little town that is close enough for a quick trip out of town to do some vintage shopping. I almost walked straight passed the store, thank goodness i took a second take. The shop also has the most amazing 100% cotton for (quilting). I had to beg her her to dig through her draws because i so knew i would find some left over buttons in there somewhere. This is what i found, HELLO!

I just found this blog and am a fan already! I love buttons and have jars and jars that I have collected. When I was little i used to spend hours with my mum and nan’s button tins, just the feel of them!
Anyhow, I love the colours on those blue buttons, blue is my favorite colour. Off to read the rest of this blog now.

Hi there Gwen, well good question.i think the best way is to keep them in jars, (since that is all the fun tipping it over and sorting them out) i unfortunately don’t have space for that, so i found utility boxes where i have one utility box dedicated to a colour, then i sort them in my own categories ie; vintage blue, most awesome blue, shanks, fish eye, vintage but new etc etc. the best part of the utility box is that i can stack them since im so short of space……and i have a huge stack of buttons.
