Im interrupting the button anchor posts with a HAPPY FRIDAY post. Look we made a consolation cake for everyone at work! Angie-stubs-pants made the cake and i made the chocolate buttons ( i got the mold from bake it pretty ) We stuffed our faces and now feel okay about the fact that we didn’t get to go to the design indaba, we happy now and have full tummys.

Id make stew out of Polly for these. …… And eat it!

My latest button obsession have been with glass buttons. Found these not so long ago. I am so flippen in love with everything about these. The colours, the detail, simplicity, the style, the size, good lookingness, prettyness, awesomeness…… i can go on, but ill save you the awkwardness, it might get a little weird. expressing my love for buttons out loud.

My sister made this pillow for me. It was supposed to be the ring pillow at our wedding and we never used it. I think im going to convert it into a nice big pin cushion. Don’t you think she did such a good job. grey one on the right is my fav.

How beautiful is this soap dish/packaging. It was my granny’s. Funny how my Uncle Craig bribed me to make him a cup of tea just so i could hold this delight in my hand. But now its mine… Ha ha ha ha…. Im keeping it forever just the way it is. Never taking the buttons out. EVA.
