Can’t wait to turn these rose buttons into earrings, how beautiful?
beautiful beautiful tulips, the size of cherry pips.
you make my heart all woozy, enough to give away my tip,
when i bought you the other day, i didn’t care how much i had to pay!
You weren’t in the 1$ bucket, but i got you for that anyway.
Thank you Len’s mill for the silly cashier,
only realised a lot later and “maybe” i shed a tear.
On this day i saved more than just a buck
YAY! for the deal since i had loads of luck.
You can imagine how i reacted when i found this button card/price list filled with vintage buttons. (i’d need to write a novel to describe the episode) Also found from my favourite button factory store. Im always in awe when i go into that store, and always find something new.
Found these awesome buttons in a store in new york. Just too dear!!!!! i got pants some too just because she loves bambies so much. Don’t think i could ever use these, it would break my heart, they going straight into my “just to look at” box.
so last week friday Pants and i went to my favourite factory shop again and boy oh boy did we find some amazing things geeeez! This box made me hyper ventilate, so i had so show it to you! YAY! i love it! Look at some just some of the things we found on the shop on Angie’s post.
Can’t find any more info about who makes these but rachel loves bob you are awesome.

So iv been so excited to try out an idea i had last week. This is it a button covered Christmas ball. YAY!!!! Super easy and quick to make, i think the whole thing took me half and hour, if that. All you need is; one polystyrene ball +4 x berry pin wheels ( different sizes if you can get) + various sized buttons. Then all you do is pin in each button into the ball, layering smaller buttons on top to cover up the gaps. If you really want to secure the buttons on to the ball then i suggest gluing the buttons first ( but just make sure you get the right craft glue, other wise normal glue will just eat up the polystyrene) …. and that’s it! Easy as eating pie. Another tip: if you are making other coloured balls like red or green i would suggest painting the polystyrene ball a base colour so you don’t see the white of the polystyrene sticking through the gaps. Hope you enjoy making these. I would love you to send photos if you have made you own. Over and out, button love x x x
hullo everyone, so my sister did a real awesome thing for me yesterday, she made her first yarnbombing mission. She said she was super scared to do it in case any of us got into trouble. I don’t think its all that vandalizing as it can get cut off if it really becomes a problem, unlike spray paint which is everlasting. I think they are beautiful Deej well done! Deej put my buttoncandy web address on the yarn bomb, so i get some free advertising. Thank you! i love you! Please leave a comment if you found this site because of my sisters yarn bomb.
Morning, been so gloomy here for the last few days and its supposed to be summer. Anyway nothing like buttons to make me smile and get over myself. I found these amazing buttons on flickr a few days ago i flippen love Memi the Rainbow (on flickr) and all her flippen amazing buttons, where she stamps images onto fabric, brilliant why didn’t i think of that. I particularly like the ones below of coarse, even more genius. Have a look at Memi the Rainbows blog too as well as her shop where she sells cute little felt toys which are ever so tiny and flippen cute.
