clipety clip clip. Angie bought me the hair clip - i have a blue one too. I made the paper clip, it holds my drawing of ty and i together with other crap on my note board at work. Very easy to make.

magnet buttons

July 27th, 2009

i made this card for Angie face for her 30th birthday. Yes i made it on the inside of a tin so that the card can last forever. Notice the magnet buttons on the outside that she can use to put on her fridge.

more of my granny’s stash

July 25th, 2009

I went to my favourite store in the plaza and found these beautiful pink beauties, i cry a little bit when i see them - they are just to pretty, cute & perfect, but what i hadn’t realised when i purchased these gems was that i had already quite a stash in my unsorted collection.  The exact same buttons strung on a piece of wool - (that’s how my granny sorted her buttons). So i bought the exact same buttons as my granny had. Coincidence - i think not. What i thought was rather strange was that the shop still had these buttons - i wouldn’t have been surprised if my gran bought the buttons from the exact same store. Anyway i now have a lot of these babies and i still want more.

new vintage

July 20th, 2009

My favorite mall to go to is the Oriental Plaza it has has tonnes of material/haberdashery shops and lots of shops with really old stock. Every time i go there i find something i have never seen before. The shop i frequent actually just has old stock - the buttons must be from the 70’s and 80’s - the shop has no modern buttons. Anyway this is where i found most of these buttons. I think i have bought him out of the hearts every time i go there i buy more hearts i want them for me and i don’t want anyone else to have them…. i think i need to take a photo of my fav shop and post about it.
