i made this card for Angie face for her 30th birthday. Yes i made it on the inside of a tin so that the card can last forever. Notice the magnet buttons on the outside that she can use to put on her fridge.

It was a good day because i finally got my button family back and now they are framed. i waited a while … The framers stuffed it up the first time and so i had to wait longer than i had hoped. But my family is back and looks beautiful. YAY!

WOW im in awe of this beautiful button sculpture Kraplap - PB Buttons & Fabrics has posted about a whole lot of giant outside buttons sculptures here. I totally want one in my garden, when i’m a grown-up and i own a house with a big garden to put it in. Thank you hyagian for your awesome picture of the sculpture.

So this is my excuse for zero posts last week, i think its a valid one. Angie and i were given the task to do WHATEVER we wanted to the front bar counter at work. Lucky us, we decided to stick down 4261 buttons (i made that number up - and wouldn’t be surprised if it was more) spelling out the word hello. Crazy we know, but the whole process was rather therapeutic.  Angie pants also posted about this awesome project here. PS: thank you Lauren for helping out. From this whole process we found a button factory shop which I’m sure i will post about soon.

My sister made this for me, she found a cut off of the black and white fabric in a fabric store and sewed buttons on. How sweet. i hang it up in my office at work to remind me of her. x x

I took my mom’s face appart - That i did for migrate magazine last year. Here are the two jars filled of buttons it took to make this face. Sorry Ma i had to -It was taking up space and in all honesty i wanted the buttons back.
